Pass Plus The Pass Plus course is a voluntary scheme for newly qualified drivers after passing the Driving Test. This course can only be taught by registered, qualified ADI's. The aim of the scheme is to make the roads safer for the general public and in particular safer driving for newly qualified drivers. Another benefit is discounted motor insurance, which the insurers can provide due to having fewer claims. The Pass Plus course enables the new driver to acquire new skills and knowledge and to develop their existing skills by teaching positive driving skills and attitudes. The course consists of six modules each lasting a minimum of one hour. There is NO TEST at the end of the course, but you must satisfy the instructor that you have reached the required standard before a certificate can be issued. The modules are: Town Driving; All Weather Driving; Out of Town Driving & Rural Roads; Night Driving; Dual Carriageways; Motorways N.B. You do not have to have learnt to drive with PHD in order to take the Pass Plus Course |
